Homeless Children portrays a group of children living on the streets of Khartoum. Their figures are deliberately immersed in a restrained blue-toned environment, almost disappearing into the surrounding city. This visual merging reflects the painful idea of invisibility - how children living in poverty can become part of the urban background, overlooked by the people and society around them.The work draws attention to children struggling with their most basic needs and the harsh realities that can shape their lives, including vulnerability to drug addiction. The child standing in the foreground appears to look directly towards the viewer, creating a quiet but confronting encounter, while the others remain absorbed in their own world.The monochromatic palette reinforces the atmosphere of isolation and emotional distance. Rather than using dramatic colour to demand attention, the artist allows the children to almost vanish into the scene, making their invisibility itself the central message of the work.The artwork was created digitally on a graphic tablet and printed on cotton canvas as a single unique edition (1/1).
