Learning to Lean
What if the threads you wanted to cut were the very ones keeping you from falling? Learning to Lean explores the fragile moment when resilience is no longer about resisting, but about allowing yourself to be supported. Suspended by delicate cotton threads, the fragmented figure does not surrender; she pauses in the space between collapse and renewal. Torn apart and carefully reassembled, the body becomes a metaphor for healing, while the threads transform into symbols of the invisible connections that carry us when our own strength is not enough. Sometimes becoming whole begins not by letting go of every bond, but by recognizing which ones help us rise again. Original mixed media artwork created with acrylic and cotton thread on canvas, 60 × 80 cm. The painting will be carefully packed and shipped in a sturdy box, ready to hang upon arrival.
