Me and 2026
by Enas Sakr
Me and 2026 is an intimate exploration of self-reflection, emotional protection and the quiet process of facing a new chapter in life. Through expressive ink lines and a richly textured background, the artist creates a dialogue between two abstracted figures, inviting the viewer to consider the relationship between the self, others and the world beyond. The embracing, frame-like form surrounding the figures suggests a personal space , a shelter where thoughts can settle and emotions can be explored without fear of judgement. Within this protective shape, the figures appear both connected and distinct, reflecting the delicate balance between closeness and individuality. Flowing lines introduce a sense of movement, while the restrained, earthy palette and layered brushwork create a feeling of introspection and quiet strength.Combining minimalist Cubist influences with expressive drawing and mixed-media textures, the work leaves room for personal interpretation. Its title connects this intimate encounter with the idea of a new year as a threshold: a moment to look inward, reconsider relationships and make space for what lies ahead.Medium: Acrylic and ink on canvasDimensions: 30 × 20 cmShipping: Carefully packaged and shipped in a box.
