Metamorphosis explores the relationship between thought, memory and personal transformation. At the centre of the composition, a female figure becomes a space where the inner and outer worlds intersect. Butterflies emerging from her head symbolise ideas, dreams and the gradual process of mental and emotional change.The work combines painted and three-dimensional collage elements, creating a layered surface that reflects the complexity of memory. Fragments of old newspapers, cassette tape and Arabic handwritten texts evoke stored memories, past experiences and fragments of cultural identity. These materials suggest how the past remains present within us, continuously influencing the way we understand ourselves.The contrast between the organic butterflies and the fragmented, aged materials creates a visual sense of movement and transformation.
